GBC Home Srvices Inc. provides general contracting services including but not limited to residential renovations, commercial construction, kitchen and bathroom remodeling, basement finishing, flooring installation, fence installation, interlock patio services, and deck construction in Ottawa, Ontario and surrounding areas.

2.1 Free Estimates: We provide free, no-obligation estimates for potential projects. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified. 

2.2 Accuracy: While we strive for accuracy, estimates are based on information provided and site conditions visible at the time of inspection. Final costs may vary based on unforeseen conditions, material price changes, or scope modifications. 

2.3 Acceptance: Estimates become binding contracts only upon signed acceptance by both parties and receipt of any required deposit. 

3.1 Written Agreements:
All projects require a written contract outlining scope of work, timeline, payment terms, and responsibilities of both parties.

3.2 Changes to Scope:
Any changes to the agreed scope of work must be documented in writing and may affect pricing and timelines. Change orders require written approval before implementation.

3.3 Permits and Approvals:
We will obtain necessary building permits where required. Client is responsible for any homeowner association approvals or special permits beyond standard building permits.

4.1 Deposit:
Projects typically require a deposit upon contract signing to secure scheduling and order materials. 

4.2 Progress Payments:
Payment schedule will be outlined in the contract and typically includes milestone-based payments throughout the project. 

Final payment is due upon project completion, unless otherwise specified in the contract. 

Project timelines are estimates and may be affected by weather, material availability, permit delays, unforeseen site conditions, or client-requested changes. 

Client must provide reasonable access to the work site during business hours. Delays caused by lack of access may extend project timelines. 

We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to weather, material shortages, or permit delays.
